Amendments to bushfire planning and building regulations

The requirements for building in areas affected by natural hazards are changing during 2017.

If you are building in a hazardous area, such as a bushfire-prone area, there may be additional considerations to the recent changes to Tasmania’s planning and building regulations that came into effect on 23rd February 2017. The modifications arise mostly from the Government’s larger program to reform planning and building regulation.
