Miena - Bushfire-ready Ladies Only Session
It is essential for women in our rural communities to feel empowered and better prepared in case of a bushfire. This starts with understanding bushfire behaviour.
We invite women in this area to come along, have a yarn, and meet the ladies from the Miena/Great Lake Volunteer Fire Brigade.
Get some advice and tips on bushfire planning and safety.
Light refreshments available from 1pm (locally made scones, sandwiches, tea and coffee), with bushfire plan session at 1:30pm and we will finish with a fire pump practical exercise.
