2:00-4:00pm wayraparattee Child and Family Centre, Geeveston
Help someone that is considered ‘vulnerable’ in their home and in an area that could be impacted by a bushfire? Think that they and yourself need to be more prepared? Vulnerability may refer to young children, those who are frail, injured, the elderly, socially isolated or people who have some level of cognitive and/or physical impairment.
Most people think that a bushfire won't happen to them and that they don’t live in a bushfire prone area - well bushfires are a potential hazard for every Tasmanian; whether you live in a suburban area or in an rural bushland setting; you may be impacted.
This session will kick-start you into action with the skills and resources you need to help family, friends, neighbours, and/or clients to be better prepared with a leave early Bushfire Survival Plan.
